Just look at this cover.  It is so beautiful.  How could the book not be amazing with such a beautiful cover?  Thankfully the cover does not let us down because the book is just as amazing as the cover!

So the first thing I want to say about this book is OMG!  I love this book.  Okay, now that that is out of the way I'll tell you a little about the book.

Have you ever been venting to a friend or family member about a tough day you've had?  Chance are good that you have if you are human because we all of those kinds of days....days where you just need to complain.  What is the first thing out of the person's mouth when you vent to them?

Asylum by Madeleine Roux

This book follows 16 year old Dan Crawford.  He attends a college prep program in New Hampshire.  This is Dan's chance to finally make some friends who share some similar interests as Dan is considered an outcast at his high school.  Dan's hopes for friends starts diminish when he meets his awkward, and somewhat robotic, roommate.  

The summer turns into a bigger adventure then Dan ever dreamed when the college prep program is housed in an old asylum that the college is renovating into dorms.  Luckily, Dan quickly makes two friends, Abby and Jordan, who go with him to explore the old wing which still houses some of the original things from when the dorm was an asylum for the criminally insane.  After a few trips down to the old wing things start to get strange for the three friends.

Woes of Working in Customer Service Vol. III

So it’s time for another episode of Woes of Working in Customer Service.  Now before I start this blog I want everyone reading this to know that I am not a mean person or a person that hates everything…I just have a really low tolerance for people!  You may be asking yourself, “Then why do you work in customer service?”  Well, I’m not really sure.  I am good at faking patience and happiness, most of the time, and the two main jobs I’ve had just happen to be in customer service.  I will say before my first job in customer service I was excited about working with the public.  One doesn't realize how stupid and frustrating people can be until they work with the public.
